North Rim Grand Canyon

We are staying at Jacob Lake for a few nights. It's the way into the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Last night we had a campfire and just relaxed a little bit.  We lost another hour when we crossed into Arizona.  Now we are 3 hours behind home.  It's hard to keep track.  Most people skip the north rim because it is not commercially developed  as the south rim and observation points are further apart and no shuttle.  There were very few people here ( just like all the other parks).  It was a beautiful day.

We were actually pretty disappointed with the way the weeds and trees are maintained (or should I say Not maintained) along the roads.

These squirrels only live at the North rim

The Lodge
Couldn't believe that gas and diesel were the same price.. and inside the park.
